27 November 2025

As part of the “Let’s Play Maths” project, funded by the European Commission and aimed at improving mathematics teaching through interactive games and physical activities, AAB College successfully organized a two-day training for participating teachers.

The first day opened with a welcoming speech by Prof. Besim Gashi, who presented the project partners and main activities. The Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, Prof. Fatmir Pireva, emphasized the importance of collaboration with Play International, while Prof. Shemsedin Vehapi outlined the objectives of the training and the role of the trainers. Participants discussed their responsibilities and engaged in practical exercises through the “Counting” and “Calculating” games.

The second day focused on the games “The Ten Game” and “Measuring Distance”, combining mathematical elements with physical activities. The training also included discussions on feedback collection and managing practical sessions with students.

This training contributed to strengthening interactive teaching methods, developing effective communication, and adapting activities to different age groups. The activities created a strong foundation for future training sessions and innovative initiatives in mathematics education, supporting the project’s mission to integrate physical activity with mathematics learning.
