On the occasion of May 12th, International Nursing Day, AAB College, Faculty of Nursing will organize a series of activities to mark this day.
The activities planned during this week are:
On May 10th, 2017, there will be organized voluntary blood donation by students and staff of AAB College, under the motto “Donate blood, save lives.” Voluntary blood donation will be organized in cooperation with the Center for Blood Transfusion, on the campus premises of AAB College in Prishtina;
On 11th and 12th May 2017, organized by the Career and Lifelong Learning Center, training for nurses will be held at the AAB Theater “Faruk Begolli”. The training is from 09.00 -14.00. The training is accredited by the Board for Continuing Medical Education of the Ministry of Health. Active participants earn 9 credit points, while passive participants earn 6 credit points.
On 12th May 2017, in the framework of the training “Nursing under intensive care and anesthesia”, the special guest to lecture in this training will be Prof.Ass.Phd. Fatma Vural, from Dokuz Eylül University, Izmir, Turkey.
On May 12th, 2017, the students of the Faculty of Nursing of AAB College, will provide free nursing services to the citizens of Prishtina in “Mother Teresa” Square. Activities will take place from 10.00-15.00. Interested citizens will be able to have their blood pressure measured; blood sugar measurement; measuring body weight as well as receiving medical advice.
on May 13th, 2017, AAB Cinema Club and the Faculty of Nursing screen “The English Patient”. The movie will be screened at the AAB Theater “Faruk Begolli”, from 16.00.
