Academic staff professional development training continues, a large number of interested attendees

At AAB College, within the “Summer Program 2022” of PDIC, the trainings for the professional development of the academic staff continued for the second day in a row. After the great interest in participation, the trainings were divided into different rooms for the attendees while topics of interest in professional advancement and academic staff development were addressed.

The vice-rector of AAB College, Shemsedin Vehapi and Xhavit Rexhaj, professor at the Faculty of English Language, spoke about “Evaluation Forms and Grading”, while explaining the methods and professional responsibility during the evaluation.

While in the other training, Venera Llunji, professor at the Faculty of English Language, accompanied by Karolina Adamiak from the University of Lodz, addressed the topic “Culture and organizational leadership”, talking about their experiences in relation to teaching and how universities define the roles of each individual who has a key role in these institutions. Among other things, the lecturer from Lodz shared her experience and methods which are applied at the university where she works.

“Communication and connection of research with public policies”, was one of the following topics in the next training that was conducted by Professor Mirvan Xhemaili. Even in this training, the participants were provided with details and knowledge about how university plays an important role in the communication of science with the audience. This topic is considered to be of great importance, and a key factor affecting the development and professionalization of the academic staff.

The next five trainings continue on Thursday 21 July from 09:00 to 16:30.
