The call for applications is open from the Grassroots Institute Canada for the Summer School which will be held from September 11 to 20, 2023, in the Bükk Mountains, Hungary.

The theme of the program will be “Mountain Ecosystems and Resource Management”, where mountain ecosystems are examined in the context of human development and natural resources, principles of natural resource management and resource governance for sustainable conservation.

Depicting case studies from a wide range of current natural resources across the globe, the program considers how different social, political, economic, cultural and gender aspects compete with and sustain natural resources in mountain ecosystems.

All students, researchers and teachers who wish to be informed about mountain ecosystems and sustainable development are invited to apply.
