HUNGARIAN AMBASSADOR, H.E. DR. LÁSZLÓ ISTVÁN DUX, VISITS AAB COLLEGE

15 October 2025

The Ambassador of Hungary to Kosovo, H.E. Dr. László István Dux, visited AAB College, where he was warmly welcomed by the Rector, Dr. Sc. Blerim Olluri.

Strengthening Academic and Cultural Cooperation

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and served as an opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation between the Embassy of Hungary in Kosovo and AAB College in the fields of education, science, art, and culture.

During the discussion, both parties emphasized the importance of deepening collaboration with Hungarian higher education institutions through the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). These agreements aim to create opportunities for student and academic exchanges, including Erasmus+ mobility and joint projects, to enhance the international visibility of AAB College and its Hungarian partners, strengthen their global academic presence, and enable the participation of students and staff in International Weeks, lectures, seminars, and international conferences.

Visit to AAB College Facilities

During his visit, the Ambassador toured the facilities of AAB College, including the laboratories of the Faculty of Computer Science, the dental clinics of the Faculty of Dentistry, the sports facilities of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, the legal laboratories of the Faculty of Law, the AAB College theatres, and the ATV television studios.

The discussion also addressed the Ambassador’s support for the Prishtina International Theater Festival 2026, along with many other opportunities for closer cooperation between the Embassy of Hungary, Hungarian higher education institutions, and AAB College.

Existing Cooperation with Hungarian Universities

AAB College already maintains Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with two renowned Hungarian universities: Széchenyi István University in Győr and Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Budapest.

These agreements provide important opportunities for student and staff exchanges, participation in various academic and research activities and events, joint conferences and research projects, as well as the development of cooperation in education, science, art, and culture.

This meeting reaffirmed AAB College’s commitment to strengthening international relations, enhancing academic visibility, and creating new global opportunities for students and staff.
