Majlinda Aliu, completed Bachelor studies in the Faculty of Mass Communication at AAB.

Because of her knowledge acquired during the studies in AAB, Majlinda immediately after completing the studies in AAB, commenced to work in the national television Koha Vision (KTV), as a journalist at information desk. Since October of 2006, she has been working at the public broadcaster Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK). For six years she was a reporter in the newsroom, where she often covered important events, such as the process of declaration of independence of Kosovo, electoral processes and also interviewed prominent persons of national and international political life.

Her professional work was awarded several times with prizes. In 2008 and 2012 was awarded by the United Nation Kosovo Team (UNKT) with the “Best story on poverty”, whereas in 2010 she participated in a Balkan competition and won the first prize of the Balkan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence. In 2014, she was selected from the Albanian-American Council to attend the program for professional advancement in Washington DC, SHBA. She developed her professional capacities in some prestigious media such as CNN, NPR and VOA. Currently she is working at RTK.
