Students from the Department of Psychology had the opportunity to be part of the TAO meditation session by Amadea Stefa, trainer and art therapist, for communication and intercultural competence. Stefa has shared her professional expertise and cooperated with reputable companies such as Siemens or Telekom Austria. In this session, students became acquainted with the Chinese medical theory of Shen Qi Jing, with its constituent parts such as soul, heart, mind, energy, and matter, related to the latest scientific findings on human well-being.
Yesterday’s activity concluded with the TAO meditation exercise with emphasis on awareness, concentration, visualization, and meditation. At the end, the students were introduced to the physical materials required to perform this technique.
