Adnan Jashari

Dr. Adnan Jashari was born on November 29, 1965 in Debresh, Gostivar, where he completed primary and secondary school. In 1998, he graduated from the Faculty of Law in Prishtina (https://uni-pr.edu/) with a grade point average of 9.80 as a student of the generation. In 1995, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Prishtina (https://uni-pr.edu/) where he received a master’s degree in civil law. He earned his master’s degree with the topic: “Commercial Contracts in Comparative Law and the Law of the Republic of Macedonia”. He received his doctorate in 2003 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Prishtina with the topic: “Legal Aspects of Foreign Direct Investments in Countries in Transition” (https://uni-pr.edu/). Since the establishment of AAB College, he has been working as a lecturer (https://aab-edu.net/).

From 2008 to 2011 he was re-elected as a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia ( https://www.sobranie.mk/ . From 2014 to 2016, the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia elected him as Minister of Justice in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. https://www.pravda.gov.mk/ . From 2011 to 2014, he was elected by the Government as a deputy member of the Venice Commission. https://www.coe.int/en/web/venice-commission . Since 2011, he has cooperated with the British Council, IFES ( https://www.ifes.org/north-macedonia) and other organizations and institutions and, if necessary, provides consultations for their needs.

From 2006 to 2011, he has been staying in several important international institutions, including the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom in London, Court of Justice, The Hague, International Commercial Arbitration, The Hague, University of Oxford, London, International Court of Justice, International Criminal Court, University of Bologna, Italy, European Court of Human Rights, Council of Europe, European Parliament, etc.

Dr. Adnan Jashari collaborates with many professional chambers in the country and abroad, especially with the Chamber of Notaries of Kosovo (https://www.noteria-ks.org/noteret/) and the Chamber of Private Bailiffs (https://opk-rks.org/).
