Donat Rexha

Donat Rexha completed his doctoral studies at the South East European University in North Macedonia, at the Faculty of Business and Economics, where he defended his PhD dissertation on the topic:
“The Impact of Fiscal Policies on Economic Growth in the Republic of Kosovo: An Empirical Analysis.”

He also completed a Master’s degree in Financial Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Business and Finance at the International Islamic University Malaysia.

Professional Experience

Since 2012, he has been a professor at AAB College, where he teaches courses such as:

  • Macroeconomics

  • Public Finance

  • Managerial Economics

Since 2016, he has been engaged as an expert in well-known international organizations, including:

  • UNICEF Kosovo

  • Council of Europe

  • UN Women Kosovo

He has contributed to the development of public policies on child rights, gender budgeting, community inclusion, as well as the drafting of strategic documents in the field of human rights and sustainable development.

He contributed to the drafting of the National Development Strategy 2021–2027, collaborating with the Office of the Prime Minister and the Office for Strategic Planning.

He was a board member and chair of the Audit Committee at the Regional Water Supply Company “Bifurkacioni.”

Personal Life

He is married, has four children, and lives in Pristina.
