Dr. Sci. Donjetë Ahmetaj Rexha was born on March 29, 1990 in Prizren, where she completed her primary and secondary education. In 2008, she graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Albanian University in Tirana, where she earned the title of Master of Pharmacy Sciences (Mr.Sc). In 2016, she began her doctoral studies at Medipol University in Istanbul, Turkey, and in 2023, she defended her doctoral dissertation titled: “Retrospective and Prospective Studies on the Evaluation of the Use of Antibiotics in the Hospital Environment”, being honored with the title of Doctor of Sciences in Clinical Pharmacy.
Her professional experience began at Ortomedica Hospital in Prizren from 2016 to January 2018, as Human Resources Manager and then as Executive Director – a position she continues to hold. In 2019, she began her engagement as a lecturer at AAB College, where she teaches Pharmacology for the majors: Nursing, Radiology Technician, and Dentistry.
Since 2024, she has been a Delegate within the Antimicrobial Resistance Control Committee at the Ministry of Health of Kosovo, and since 2025, she has been a Member of the working group for drafting the action plan for professional training and continuing education at the same institution.

In addition to the academic and managerial sphere, Dr. Donjeta debuted in literature with the book “The Color of Age” (2008), and later “Journey for You” (2022) – a psychonarrative autobiography resulting from the connection between her profession and writing. The book was also published in Turkish.
She is married, has a daughter, and lives in Prizren.
