Isuf Ahmeti

Prof. Ass. Dr. Isuf Ahmeti was born on August 25, 1968 in Bushtran Village, Presheva Municipality. In 1995, he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Prishtina in the Department of History. In 1999, he completed his postgraduate studies at the same institution in the Department of History, where he earned the title of Master of Historical Sciences (Mr.Sc). At the same time, he continued his doctoral studies from 2001 at the same Faculty and in 2008 he defended his doctoral dissertation entitled: Cities of Kosovo during the 16th–18th centuries and was awarded the title of Doctor of Historical Sciences (https://uet.edu.al).

His professional experience began at the Skanderbeg Gymnasium in Presheva as a professor of History from 2000–2002, while from 2003 to 2009 he worked at the “Ali Hadri” Institute of History in Prishtina as a Scientific Researcher. He also worked as a full professor at Fama College from 2009 to 2016 and lectured a group of courses at the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Political Sciences. At the same time, he worked as an external associate at the Faculty of Law at Kadri Zeka University in Gjilan from 2013 to 2016 and lectured two courses: History of State Institutions and Law and the course History of the Albanian State and Law. And, most recently, since 2017, he has been working at the Faculty of Law at AAB College, where he has worked as a full-time professor for five years and as a non-full-time professor for the last two years.

Prof. Ass. Dr. Isuf Ahmeti, since the academic year 2017, has been part of the regular staff at AAB College where he has lectured on several subjects: History of State and Law, History of Albanian State and Law, Research Methodology in Bachelor’s, Academic Writing, Roman Law and the course of Scientific Methodology in Master’s. Currently, he lectures only two subjects: History of State and Law and History of Albanian State and Law.

Prof. Ass. Dr. Isuf Ahmeti has published dozens of professional papers and scientific articles in newspapers and magazines in Kosovo and beyond. He has participated in several forums, sessions, conferences, and scientific symposiums on issues of Albanian history and historiography.

He is married, has four children, and lives in Fushë Kosovë.
