Shqipe Tahiri has built her professional and academic career in the field of nursing.
In 2007 she graduated at the Bachelor level in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”.
She completed her master studies in nursing sciences at the Faculty of Public Health of Ismail Qemali University, Vlore.
Tahiri is currently doing her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Health Care and Nursing at Angela Boskin University, Slovenia.
From 2008 to 2010, she worked as a teacher at the High School of Medicine “Dr. Xheladin Deda” in Mitrovicë. From 2010 to 2014, she worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”.
In 2014-2016 she worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Gjakova “Fehmi Agani”.
Since 2016 she works at the Faculty of Nursing of AAB College, where she also holds the position of Vice Dean.
So far, she has participated in several national and international conferences, mainly in the professional field. Of particular interest is her participation in the European Nursing Module (ENM) at Bern College of Higher Education in Nursing, Bern, Switzerland.
She also holds the certification as a trainer in “Train the trainer”.
