Representatives of the Hungarian university "Karoli Gaspar University of the Reformed Church" visit the AAB College, a cooperation agreement is discussed

Representatives of the Hungarian University “Karoli Gaspar University of the Reformed Church” have visited AAB College, consisting of the rector of this institution, prof. dr. Laszlo Troscanvi, vice-rector for academic affairs prof. dr. Robert Szuchy and the director for international relations Szalai Gabor. While assoc.prof. dr. Judit Nagy also participated through the video link as vice-dean for international relations at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The delegation was welcomed by the vice-rectors of AAB College Venera Llunji, Uranela Demaj, Furtuna Mehmeti, the rector’s adviser Shemsedin Vehapi, the Director of the Office for Project Implementation Erëza Mehmeti, professors Arta Rama and Ardian Sallauka.

Both pairs talked about the development of their institutions, presenting study programs, faculties and staff. Special emphasis was placed on the cooperation of this university with AAB College regarding study programs, study visits, organization of conferences as well as the exchange of staff or students such as summer schools (for one of them it was decided to be held in July 2024).

There was also a discussion about the creation of a cooperation network that includes many universities in the Balkans, the EU, but also Asian countries such as South Korea. The parties also mentioned the scholarships offered by Hungary for Kosovo students, where AAB College was appealed to assign a number of scholarships to the students or staff of the institution, in particular for the level of doctoral studies.

After the meeting, the guests visited the premises of AAB College and as a result of this meeting, the cooperation agreement between the two institutions will soon be signed in Budapest, Hungary.
