STUDENTS OF LAW FACULTY REACH THE HNMUN COMPETITION FINAL ORGANIZED BY HARVARD UNIVERSITY

The prestigious international competition of law students, HNMUN organized by Harvard University, where Kosovo was represented by the students of the Faculty of Law of AAB College, has successfully completed.

In this year’s edition, the 67th in a row, students: Lirie Hoti, Enxhi Ballata, Dafina Uka and Leandrit Llunji, led by professors Egzonis Hajdari and Skender Gojani, managed to be part of the final in this competition, that this year was held online due to COVID-19 pandemic.

On this occasion, a reception was organized for the participants at the Rectorate of AAB College, where they were acknowledged for the success shown.

HNMUN which is a simulation of the UN General Assembly, the students were challenged in four different committees: the Legal Committee, the Economic-Financial Committee, the Environment Committee, and the Security Committee.

The task of the students was to propose draft resolutions on important global issues, meanwhile the success of our students was that they successfully managed to make their proposals part of the selected draft resolutions.

The HNMUN competition was the second international success of the students of the Faculty of Law, after the award won last year in the international student competition for mediation held in Lithuania.
