The interconnection of studies with professional practice in particular and with the labor market in general is a necessity in today’s educational context. In this regard, on the verge of graduation, the third-year students of the Faculty of English Language made a study visit to the TranKos company, where they were welcomed by the director general of this company, Mr. Afrim Hyseni.

During this visit, the students were introduced to the process of translating technical texts using the specialized translation software, Trados. The company director also talked about the skills a translator must have in order to be successful. Afterwards, the meeting continued with discussions and questions from the students. Trankos is an important partner for the Faculty of English Language of AAB College, as it provides professional practice for students who aspire to become translators in the future.
