From 18.11.2019, in AAB College is staying the Fulbright Program Specialist, Dr. William Butler, involved in the Project “Cyber security challenges in a developing Countries”. This Project is supported by the Fulbright Program, the US Department of State, the US Embassy in Pristina and AAB College. From AAB College, Project Manager is Dr. Arianit Maraj, Professor at AAB and a Fulbright Alumni. 

The main topics which will be discussed in this Talk are:

• Identify key elements of a National cybersecurity strategy for Kosovo
• Discuss strategies to increase general awareness of the population to the cyber threat
• Describe how Kosovo’s cybersecurity capabilities can be strengthened to better respond to cyber threats to key critical infrastructure

Dr. Butler has over thirty years’ experience in networking and IT as a network engineer and consultant. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and retired as a Colonel specializing in information systems and security. Now he is Chair of the Cybersecurity Program at Capitol Technology University (Located in Laurel Maryland, USA). 

In this talk, are invited: Students and Professors of AAB College, participants from the US Embassy in Kosovo, participants from Industry, Government, Colleges and other Universities in Kosovo. This talk will be held at the AAB College, Komertal Theatre, Objekti i Ri –AAB College, date 29.11.2019, starting at 10:00 am.
