The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at AAB College and the Kosovo Chess Federation have organized the international chess tournament “Adem Jashari Cup 2024”.

The competitions were held in rapid chess according to FIDE rules. 205 chess players from Kosovo and the region participated in this tournament.

The following spoke at the solemn opening of this tournament: Bekim Jashari, the vice-president of the Chess Federation of North Macedonia Agim Shemshiu, the dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at AAB College Fatmir Pireva, as well as the president of the Kosovo Chess Federation Armend Budima.

The winner of the “Adem Jashari Cup 2024” tournament was Nderim Saraçi, while distinguished chess players were awarded medals by the organizers.
