Was held the Scientific Conference of communication and media studies,on topic “Media between mass media and public relations”, organized by the Department of Journalism and Communication at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Mass Communication of the AAB College.This conference aimed to bring together researchers and the media of mass communication from pan and wider areas, to present the findings of their research to the media, to exchange experiences, ideas and discuss other relevant, scientific and professional issues.
Head of Department of Journalism and Communication at the University of Tirana, prof. dr. Mark Marku,at theopening part of the conference, said that conference has access to academic problems not only for Albania, but also globally. “Of course, your academic approach to the theme of the conference will result in the publication of the conference, which will have an impact not only for students and teachers, but for all employees of media and all public opinion that are interested in having information about this issue, “said Mark.
Meanwhile, Vice-Rector for Science at the AAB College, dr. Hasan Saliu, at the opening of the conference, said that two institutions, such as the Department of Journalism and Communication at the University of Tirana, as well as the Faculty of Mass Communication at the AAB College, have cooperated earlier in organizing scientific conferences. “Thanks to this cooperation, such a conference ,we held in the Parliament on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and another one in 2015, at AAB College in Prishtina, in cooperation with the oldest journalism school EcoleSuperieure de Paris and IGAP School where our cooperation have been very fruitful, “said Sali.
But, dean of the Department of Journalism and Communication at the University of Tirana, prof. dr. Valentina Duka, said that the conferences have become a tradition and not only listen to one another, but to share ideas and abroad. “AAB is one of the best private colleges in Pristina, which is attached to us in this conference,” she said.
The conference was held in three sessions as “interweave between public information and media relations”, “relations with public institutions” and the third session of “The evolution of relations between mass media and PR tactics and new forms.” In three sessions they have introduced a large number of participants – academics and professionals, among whom were members of the academic staff of the AAB College, as dr. Hasan Saliu, IlireZajmi, Naile Demiri etc., Who contributed with their works and scientific findings. The conference was attended by a group of students from the College of Mass Communication of AAB College.
