Arta Musollaj

Dr. Arta Musollaj was born on September 16, 1992, in Peja. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Prishtina, majoring in Political Science (2011–2015), and in 2017 she completed her master’s studies in Applied Linguistics with TESOL at the University of Sheffield. In 2022, she completed her PhD in the field of Sociolinguistics at the same university, with her dissertation focused on attitudes towards minority languages in Kosovo (original title: Attitudes towards Minority Languages in Kosovo).

Her professional experience includes teaching engagements at the International Faculty CITY College of the University of Sheffield, as well as research through the South-East European Research Center (SEERC) and the University of Sheffield. In addition to teaching and academic research, she has also been involved in training youth, focusing on conflict transformation and peacebuilding. Currently, she works at AAB College as a lecturer and is also engaged as a project officer, responsible for the development, monitoring, and implementation of projects.

She speaks Albanian as her native language, is proficient in English, and has a good command of Greek. She also has skills in using programs such as SPSS Statistics, ArcMap, and AntConc.
