Prof.Ass.Dr. Donik Sallova is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Public Administration. He completed his basic studies in political science at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Political Science of the University of Pristina in the period 2006-2009. He earned the Master of Science degree in Political Science-Political Theory in 2012 at the University of Tirana. He pursued his doctoral studies at the South East European University in North Macedonia in the period 2014-2017, also in the field of political science, where he defended his doctoral dissertation with the title “The Politics of Building Albanian National Identity”.
He has been part of AAB College since 2013 as a lecturer and full-time professor within the Faculty of Public Administration. He was Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration (2020-2021), while in the period 2015-2017 he served as Coordinator for Student Mentoring and Internship within the faculty. He lectures courses in the field of political science, public policy and scientific research methodology at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
In the field of political science, his scientific and research focus is directed towards topics related to governance and public policies, identity politics, issues of democracy and democratization, political culture, etc. He has published a number of scientific articles in internationally acclaimed scientific journals. For a long period, he has also contributed to the field of journalism as a regular columnist in newspapers and online media of the time.
Prof. Sallova, as a political scientist and political researcher, has also contributed through his engagement and professional service in the state institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. In 2020, he served as an advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, while from 2021 to 2025 he was engaged as a senior political advisor to the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
