The Faculty of Psychology at AAB College has entered a new phase with the appointment of Prof. Ass. Dr. Arvesa Studenica as Dean, succeeding Arlinda Gashi, PhD cand., who led the faculty with dedication and professionalism over recent months.
The formalization of the new Dean’s appointment was held at the office of AAB College’s Rector, Dr. Sc. Blerim Olluri, who congratulated her on the new role and emphasized the importance of this step in further enhancing the institution’s quality and strengthening the Faculty of Psychology.
In her speech, Prof. Ass. Dr. Studenica expressed gratitude for her predecessor’s work, highlighting her contributions to the faculty’s development and the creation of new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
With her extensive academic experience in cognitive psychology and ongoing engagement in teaching, research, and training, Prof. Ass. Dr. Studenica presented a clear vision for the future of the faculty. She emphasized that the Faculty of Psychology has already achieved significant consolidation in teaching and research, and the next step is expanding its horizons in line with contemporary developments and societal needs.
According to the Dean, education in psychology is not only an academic process but also a social mission, preparing professionals capable of combining knowledge with humanism and contributing to mental health and community well-being.
