Once again, the student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at AAB College, Akil Gjakova, has been awarded“Athlete of the Year” by the Olympic Committee of Kosovo, in recognition of his outstanding achievements throughout 2025 on the international judo stage.
During the year, Gjakova recorded major successes in elite global competitions. At the start of the season, he competed at the Paris Grand Slam, where he won the silver medal in the under-73 kg category, once again confirming his high competitive level.
His achievements stand as proof of his personal dedication, while also reflecting the institutional support and the academic and professional excellence provided by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at AAB College.
