Today in Tirana has ended the International Conference called:”Challenges of development in a changing society: Findings from studies with adolescents and young people”, organized by AAB College, University of Tirana, University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” and State University of Tetovo.

At the opening of the conference, the dean of the Faculty of Psychology of AAB College dr. sc. MeritaShala,has defined this event as very professional and scientific by character when emphasized that: “AAB College besides teaching, gives special importanceto the aspect of scientific research, thus expressing willingness for such events in promoting knowledge and science.”

Rapid social,cultural, technological, economic and demographic changes of recent years, which are posing new challenges and providing new opportunities for adolescents and to the youth were the highlights speeches of  co organizers and of scientific committee.

Besides the plenary and the closing session of the conference there were held several parallel sessions, which introduced a large number of participants – researchers and professionals from the fields of psychology, among whom were members of the academic staff and the group of young researchers- students of the Faculty of Psychology of the AAB College.

This scientific activity except that aroused the interest of researchers from the fields of psychology served as a bridge between researchers from different countries and exchanged experiences, and created a network for further cooperation.

As a product of this conference was also published collection of abstracts of scientific papers presented at the conference.
