AAB College professors deliver lectures during the International Teaching Week in Bucharest

As part of the International Teaching Week organized by the Romanian-American University (RAU) in Bucharest, AAB College professors Florijeta Hulaj, Eriona Ajvazi, and Egzonis Hajdari delivered lectures to international students of RAU University within the Erasmus+ programme. Through the topics addressed and the discussions developed, they promoted the academic expertise of AAB College while contributing to the exchange of knowledge and experiences in an international and intercultural environment.

Professor Florijeta Hulaj from the Faculty of Computer Sciences delivered lectures for Erasmus students on personal data protection and digital privacy. During these lectures, discussions focused on how personal data is collected, used, and protected in everyday life, addressing topics such as GDPR, online security, and the importance of protecting digital identity in an increasingly interconnected world. The lecture encouraged engaging discussions and active participation from the students.

Additionally, English Language professor Eriona Ajvazi lectured on the topic “Language, Identity and Communication,” where she presented the internationalization of AAB College, Kosovo’s linguistic landscape, and the importance of intercultural communication and the English language within the context of Kosovo. The lecture created an interactive space for discussion with students regarding the connection between language, identity, and society, while simultaneously promoting Kosovo’s culture and linguistic reality within an international academic environment.

Meanwhile, Professor Egzonis Hajdari from the Faculty of Law delivered a lecture for master’s level students on the topic “Protection of Property Rights According to the Case Law of the European Court of Human Rights.” During the lecture, the main principles and standards of the European Court of Human Rights regarding property protection were discussed, offering analyses and examples from European judicial practice. The presentation contributed to academic exchange and the discussion of legal issues of international importance.
