The eighth edition, July 2019, #TransparentRanking, of the university rank list by Google Scholar citations has been published. 

This rank list, which includes only about 5,000 world universities, unlike the ranking in Webometrix where they rank about 30,000, is based on publications and scientific research of higher education institutions. In the newly published edition, AAB College has been reconfirmed as the most-quoted non-public institution in Albanian lands, leaving all public and non-public universities from Albania and Macedonia behind.

The transparent ranking, as the top list of universities in the Google Scholar citations is called, is being published by the Spanish Senior Research Council, part of which is also the Cybermetrix LAB research group.

Almost as in all previous editions, from all higher education institutions in Kosovo, this list includes only AAB College and Pristina University “Hasan Prishtina”.
