WORKSHOP HELD TO IDENTIFY STRATEGIC NEEDS OF AAB COLLEGE FOR ERASMUS+ AND HORIZON EUROPE PROJECTS

16 October 2025

The Office for Project Development organized a workshop with the participation of AAB College management and deans, aimed at identifying strategic needs and priorities that can be addressed through development projects under the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe 2026 programs.

Participants discussed concrete ideas related to the modernization of higher education, the development of scientific research, digital innovation, the improvement of medical and legal education, the strengthening of physical education, as well as the alignment of education with labor market needs.

The opening remarks were delivered by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ilir Bytyçi, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized that, in addition to identifying the strategic priorities of AAB College, the goal of this workshop is also to strengthen institutional capacities, promote international collaborations, and support the continuous improvement of quality in teaching, research, and development.

At the conclusion of the workshop, nine project concepts were developed, which will serve as a basis for AAB College’s future applications in the fields of education, justice, health, economics, public administration, and institutional development.

Building on the success of past applications, in which AAB has served as both partner and coordinator in several EU-funded international projects, this workshop marks a significant step toward implementing the new strategy to expand participation in European calls during 2026.
