AAB College students of the Law Faculty visited the Command of Kosovo Security Forces

As part of efforts to apply various forms of teaching and learning, professors of the Law Faculty of the AAB College organized a study visit to Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in Prishtina. A group  consisted of professors and 70 students of the Faculty of Law from Prishtina and Ferizaj campuses participated in this visit.

During the study visit, students had the opportunity to closely get acquainted with the KSF. General Lieutenant Rrahman Rama revealed the successes achieved in the development of KSF, for regional and international cooperation, for partnership built with member countries of NATO, for professional development, training, education, equipment and the future of the KSF.

Furthermore, Colonel Ilir Qeriqi also mentioned the involvement of females and minority communities in the KSF and revealed the scope of this important institution such as: minefields cleaning, search and rescue operations within and outside the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, etc. The successes of KSF members educated abroad were mentioned as well.

Students learned about the structure, organization, mission and transformation planning of the Security Force. From the member of the KSF Legal Office, Captain Muhamet Thaqi, they learned about the legal basis of the functioning of the Security Forces with a particular emphasis on the mission and mandate of the KSF Police.

Students posed a series of questions about the future of the KSF, admission criteria, code of conduct, etc.

Thereby, the students were satisfied with the first-hand information they were able to perceive which will be required for their general professional development.
