AAB College students visit Down Syndrome Kosova as part of awareness-raising activities

Students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Psychology visited Down Syndrome Kosova as part of the organization’s activity “Open Doors Days,” accompanied by Prof. Ass. Dr. Mimoza Kamberi, Dr. Sc. Arvesa Studenica, and Prof. Arlinda Gashi.

This visit was organized to mark World Down Syndrome Day, creating a meaningful space for student interaction and learning. The students were introduced to the association’s environment and work, as well as to technological tools that support the development of communication and interaction among children.

At the same time, the students joined the campaign “A Postcard for You,” engaging in creating postcards together with the children.

This experience proved valuable for the students, raising awareness and emphasizing the importance of inclusion and support for individuals with Down Syndrome.
