The call for participation in the summer school organized by Masaryk University – Czech Republic, from June 16 to July 7, 2024, is open.

The topic of this school will be “Urban Sustainability: Engage in the Future” which focuses on the development of urban centers with climate change in mind.

OTHER DETAILS ABOUT THE SUMMER SCHOOL:

Masaryk University offers a participation fee of €2,600 (full participation fee) to students participating in the program.

This funding covers: tuition fees, an excellent cultural and social program every day both in Brno and for three excursions to two other European countries (3 cities), accommodation in Brno on these trips, and breakfast.

Students personally cover the travel tickets from Kosovo to Brno, their lunch and dinner expenses during the program. Up to two or three students are accepted from AAB College, depending on capacity.

Throughout the summer school, students will be equipped with knowledge and techniques that will inform them about multi-level governance, urban planning, vulnerability and resilience in times of climate change and other crises.

The structure of the course is as follows:

Three or four days a week in class, then a three-day trip to Prague, Vienna and Bratislava. The program is quite intensive, there are many formal and informal learning activities, and course assessment will consist of exams, presentations, essays, as well as classroom activities.
