Certificate Awarding Ceremony Held For Volunteer Students In The “English From Me To You” Program In Sos Village

For two years now, third year students of the Faculty of English Language have been contributing voluntarily to teaching English to children who are part of SOS Village schemes. This year 25 students taught more than 100 children.

At the end of the second module, students were awarded certificates to appreciate their contribution. Present at this event were the Rector of AAB College, Bujar Demjaha, representatives from SOS Village, Arjeta Rexhaj, Head of the Support Center for Children and Families, and Hana Shala, social worker and English language program coordinator.

In his keynote address, the Rector congratulated the students for all their dedication and for the good example they are transmitting to the community. The Rector expressed the readiness of AAB College to continue supporting the children of SOS Village with other activities.

Jasmine Ejupi, one of the volunteers of the program “English from me to you” shared her experience in front of the audience and said that the experience and feeling she had with the children during the courses will be unforgettable. At the end the students continued the conversation about other similar projects.
