Professors from the Department of German at AAB College, Armend Bytyqi, Miradije Miftaraj Bytyqi, Mejreme Gashi and Dean Aida Alla held a consultation meeting with Dr. Paul Voerkel, Head of Division at the International Office and the Centre for Cross-Faculty Learning at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences.
The discussion focused on revising the BA German program, with particular emphasis on enhancing curriculum quality and aligning it with current academic and professional standards. Dr. Voerkel, with over 15 years of experience in curriculum design for teaching German as a foreign language, shared valuable insights and best practices, including practical guidance on designing and delivering hybrid classes.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration in support of further improving the program as well other potential mobility opportunities.
