In an official ceremony at AAB College, the Faculty of Computer Sciences marked an important leadership transition, reinforcing its role as a hub of technology, innovation, and higher education in Kosovo and the region. The outgoing Dean, Ass. Prof. Dr. Jusuf Qarkaxhija, formally handed over the position to Dr. Sc. Arben Ahmeti, who now takes on the role of the new Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences at AAB College. On this occasion, the Rector of AAB College, Dr. Sc. Blerim Olluri, emphasized the importance of this transition in reinforcing the faculty’s position as a leader in higher education, scientific research, and AI innovation in the region.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the Faculty’s strategic vision, including the development of new academic programs, the launch of innovative digital projects, and the deepening of collaboration between academia and industry.
Central to this vision is a strong connection between the faculty, its students, and the labor market—integrating industry into academic processes through professional internships, collaborative initiatives, and innovative projects designed to ensure students’ high-quality preparation for future careers, with a particular emphasis on AI.
This leadership handover represents a significant step for AAB College, which continues to stand out as Kosovo’s leading private institution in technology, computer sciences, and innovation. With its strong academic standards and growing international visibility, AAB College is further consolidating its reputation as a higher education institution that successfully bridges education, scientific research, and modern industry.
