The objective of the StomatologyProgramme is to train medical and academic personnel, and raise awareness on the relevance of their potential contribution to the general health of their patients, and specifically oral health, in prevention, treatment and education. The StomatologyDepartment employs a wide diversity of services in preventing and controlling dental diseases and oral disorders. From the patient’s viewpoint, the most dignified functions of Stomatologyare primary relief of toothaches, preservation of regular tooth structure, rehabilitation of lost sections in teeth, and promotion of oral health.
Upon successful completion of the programme, students shall be able to:

During the first year, students are expected to have a concept of what ISSW is, what is the importance of SISH during their professional work. Specifically during the first year will focus on the historical part where we will see the systems that have been used so far and the changes that will come after the implementation of the HIS. Designing, building and implementing also needs financing, where students will be familiar with Forms of Financing and Investing in this sector.

This subject studies chromosomes and offers a cyto-genetic explanation of various diseases. Contents shall include aspects of chromosome study (from cytologenetics and molecular cytologenetics), that are important procedures in pre-natal diagnostics, in cases of patients with mental health problems or congenital deficiencies, patients with abnormal sexual development, and in some cases, infertility or numerous abortions. Cytogenetic analysis is also important in the study and treatment of patients with malign and haematological disorders.

Apart from such micro-orgnaisms, the oral cavity may also have other micro-organisms that come from external environs, through water, food and other items. Some types of such micro-organisms may be true saprophytes, other types appear as parasytes, and most frequently, they are representatives of “pathogeneous species” which cause manifested clinical infections.

In our case, this Elective Coursededicated to students of Stomatology is based on three sections: local anesthetics, sedation and reanimation of the patient. Anesthesiology is a science aimed at eliminating pain and invasive procedures without pain. This is achieved by administering general and local anesthetics. The second part of the module deals with sedation, degrees and manners of sedation. The third part of the module is about reanimation, allowing for recognition and management of critical conditions.

Teaching shall concentrate on the motions of occlusal forces onto the parodontium and therapy of occluso-atriculating disorders.
