Kosovar youth join for peace and tolerance in Kosovo

10 May 2017

Tens of thousands of people joined this Sunday “United for Peace” campaign through the “Let the trace of Peace” activity that took place in the Zahir Pajaziti Square in Prishtina.

Colored tents, set by the campaign group, brought together young people, as well as citizens of other ages, who through the drawings provided messages for peace and against extremism.

Vlora Ademi, a member of the ‘’United For Peace’’ Campaign, at the same time a student at AAB College, was delighted with the readiness of young people to contribute to the promotion of peace in our country.

The United For Peace campaign group has conducted several activities both inside and outside the premises of AAB College.

The Campaign against Extremism is designed by AAB College students within the framework of the global Facebook-wide global challenge against extremism, supported by the US State Department and the Facebook social network.

The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness of youth against extremism and promote peace and religious tolerance in Kosovo. Campaign activities include meetings with Kosovar youth as well as activities within the AAB College but also outside of it, in various municipalities of Kosovo.
