AAB College Fashion Design students have already begun to put to use their acquired professional knowledge.
In this period when we continue to be at risk of the spread of the corona virus, the students of this program have taken an initiative to sew masks for AAB staff, under the supervision of Prof. Neki Morina.
“Of course, this idea has been welcomed by both me and the students, we are trying to have over 250 masks in a day that will be offered for use to the staff who are constantly at work. With the good will of the students and with the desire to contribute to the situation we are in, we have returned to our work equipment here at the Faculty of Arts to finalize the sewing of the masks “, said Prof. Morina.
One of the students engaged in sewing masks, said that with the help of the professor and working conditions at AAB this whole process was not difficult.
“Even during the period of isolation, I have worked on masks for the citizens and I am familiar with the work required to make them. It is a pleasure that in situations like these we manage to contribute something from our future profession and at the same time practice what we are learning during our studies “, said the student Ramiz Salihu.
While further adherence to physical measures and distances is being sought, this contribution by students means a lot to maintaining health and preventing COVID-19 virus.
