“The (Non) formalization of the Albanian language in Macedonia” book by Arsim Sinani got promoted at the premises of European University of Tirana, published by UET Press
“The (Non) formalization of the Albanian language in Macedonia” book provides an in-depth analysis of the history of the Albanian language in the former Yugoslavia and afterwards in the new republic of Macedonia up to date. When speaking in front of an audience, present being also politicians and analysts from Tirana, Montenegro and Macedonia, as well as professors and students, Arsim Sinani said that this book has brought some thesis dealing with the current situation of the Albanians in the Balkans. When focusing on the problems that Albanian language is facing today, not only in Macedonia and Montenegro the Presevo Valley, Arsim Sinani insisted several times during his speech, that everything should start from Tirana, in order to bring these problems to an end once and for all.
Prof.dr. Romeo Gurakuqi- during the promotion of the book “The (Non) formalization of the Albanian language in Macedonia” said the book is a comparative study, focused on the period from 1991 to 2014 and much less in the second period of former Yugoslavia. The author deals with the historical and legal analysis of the actual process of recognition of the Albanian language in the neighbouring country.
Arsim Sinani has published a series of scientific papers in national and international journals and is a professor at the AAB College.
