Dr. Tech. Arben Ahmeti was born on September 7, 1975 in Skënderaj, where he completed his primary and secondary education. In 2000, he earned a diploma at the University of Tirana, Albania, majoring in “Informatics” (5-year program), Faculty of Natural Sciences. In 2010, he completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Prishtina, in “Computer and Software Engineering”, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, earning the title Master in Computer Science – Software Engineering. Further, in 2022, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria, on the topic “Solving Multi-Mode Resource-Constrained Multi-Project Scheduling Problems by Hybrid Algorithms“, under the Database and Artificial Intelligence group and was honored with the title Doctor of Technical Sciences.
Dr. Techn. Arben Ahmeti has extensive multi-year experience, starting in October 1999, in both public and private sectors of industry and education, with particular emphasis on information technology, higher education, and strategic development of advanced systems. He currently works as a professor at AAB College and serves as the IT Manager at FINCA Kosovo, where he leads and implements the organization’s technological strategies. Previously, he held key roles at Kosovo Telecom, including Business Support Systems and IT Manager for over 7 years, and Chief of Technology and Information Systems for more than 5 years (https://kosovotelecom.com/). He has also served as IT Project Coordinator and IT Expert at the European Agency for Reconstruction, where he led critical platform and e-procurement system development. Additionally, Dr. Ahmeti has educated new generations for over 15 years in object-oriented programming, web programming, and artificial intelligence, and developed IT training programs for University of Prishtina students under the World University Service Austria (WUS).
Dr. Techn. Ahmeti has a dense record of scientific and academic contributions. He has been a presenter and participant in numerous international conferences and symposia in fields such as artificial intelligence and optimization algorithms. Notable conferences include: PATAT 2022 in Belgium, GECCO 2018 in Japan, PMS 2020 in France, CPAIOR 2021 and 2020 in Austria, OR 2015 in Vienna, and the CAIML Symposium hosted by the Vienna University of Technology.

He has contributed to book editing, notably reviewing “Bazat e programimit” by Kadri Sylejmani and Labeat Arbneshi, a task collection book for C++ exercises.
Throughout his professional career, Dr. Ahmeti has completed a wide range of training programs, including: IT Services Management (Alison, 2023), Oracle ADF (Oracle University, 2010), Acme SBC Systems (2010), SAN & Storage Management (HP Bulgaria, 2009), TOEFL iBT (ETS, 2011), Performance Management (PTK, 2009), CCNA (Cisco, 2002–2004), and UNIX Fundamentals 2.0 (IPKO Institute, 2003), among others. He is fluent in English and Serbo-Croatian, with basic knowledge of German.
