Fëllënzë Pula

Asoc. Prof. Dr. Fëllanzë Pula was born on October 31, 1962, in Prishtina, where she also completed her primary and secondary education. In 1991, she graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Prishtina in the field of “Development of Economic Thought” (https://uni-pr.edu/). In 2011, she completed her postgraduate studies at “Dardania” College, in “Business Management”, earning the title Master of Economic Sciences (Mr.Sc). As part of her commitments with the Kosovo Energy Corporation in 2003, she completed training programs in: Change Management, Performance Indicator Management, General Management, in collaboration with SweedPower, Sweden & Kosovo Energy Corporation. In 2016, she defended her doctoral dissertation at the European University of Tirana, with the topic: “Women-Oriented Business”, and was awarded the title Doctor of Economic Sciences, specializing in Management. Her professional experience began in an international context in 1995, at the Humanitarian Organization “Kinderberg” as an assistant and coordinator, responsible for the organizing, finance, and logistics of the entire humanitarian project. In April 1999, she worked in Montenegro with Medicines Sans Frontiers as Project Coordinator for an emergency refugee project. From July 1999, she joined “CARE International”, initially as Senior Finance Officer. At the beginning of 2000, based on her high performance, she was promoted to Finance Manager at this international organization. During this year, in 2000, she successfully completed training in the USA, Atlanta, for SCALA, a system for Financial and General Management.

By the end of 2001, she was joined USAID, as a Trainer and Deputy Director for the USAID Institutional Strengthening Program for Public Services and Infrastructure. During this program, in the same year, she completed the training and was certified as a “Trainer of Trainers”.

From 2003 to December 2011, Prof. Pula had extensive professional experience in public institutions, such as the Kosovo Energy Corporation (http://www.kek-energy.com/kek), where she served as Executive Director of the Supply Division.

At the public enterprise “Termokos” (https://termokos.org), she held the position of Chief Executive Officer, where she led several strategic and capital projects, including:

  • (2003): Billing digitalization and customer care program (CCP)
  • Establishment of the Marketing and PR Department to improve collection processes
  • Projects to improve the financial sustainability of the company
  • Establishment of the first Call Center in the Balkans, which still operates in KEK and Termokos
  • (2007–2011): Co-generation Project in Prishtina, one of the most important projects in the thermal energy sector in Kosovo
  • Implementation of several projects funded by the budget of the Republic of Kosovo

During this time, she was also engaged as a Senior Advisor, “COWI-IPF Consortium”, as part of a project funded by the European Commission (EU Project – European Commission).

Asoc. Prof. Dr. Fëllanzë Pula is a professional with extensive academic and executive experience in managing public enterprises and higher education institutions in Kosovo. She has built a successful career in strategic management, heating markets, and human capital development.
She has actively contributed to the energy and district heating sectors, as well as the development of post-war institutional reforms and training in Kosovo. 

She is currently a professor at the Faculty of Economics at AAB College (www.kolegjiaab.com).

 

At the same time, she has held and continues to hold high leadership positions in various institutions.  From 2007 to 2011, she served as a Member of the Governing Council at the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce. From 2019 to 2021, she was appointed as a Board Member and Chairwoman of the Audit Committee at “Trafiku Urban” J.S.C.-Prishtina (https://trafikurban-pr.com/2022).

Prof. Pula is actively engaged in academia. Since the academic year 2017/18, she has been a full-time staff member at AAB College, where she teaches subjects in Management and Economics, such as: Organizational Leadership, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Management, Supply Chain Management, Contemporary Management Practices, and others.

Asoc. Prof. Dr. Fëllanzë Pula is a multidisciplinary leader with over 25 years of experience in public institutions, academia, and infrastructure consulting. She has demonstrated success in strategic and financial management of public services, with strong capabilities in leading organizational transformations and strengthening institutional sustainability.

In academia, she has mentored and supported hundreds of students in economic management, while her research has contributed to the global dialogue on gender equality, digital transformation, and quality in higher education. She is an active voice for reforms in the energy system and academic governance.

She lives in Prishtina, is divorced, and has two children.
