Mimoza Kamberi

Prof. Ass. Dr. Mimoza Kamberi is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Social Sciences at AAB College, where she has been engaged since 2015. She currently serves as the Coordinator for Research and International Cooperation (2024–present). Over the years, she has played a significant role in academic and institutional development, having held leadership positions such as Vice Dean for Teaching (2019–2024), Acting Dean (2017–2019), and Coordinator for Teaching and Quality Assurance (2015–2017).

Dr. Kamberi earned her Ph.D. at the University of Prishtina in 2022. She also holds a Master of Science (2010) and a Bachelor of Science (2005) in Psychology from the same university, building a strong academic and professional profile in developmental and educational psychology.

At AAB College, Prof. Kamberi teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate-level courses, including: Educational Psychology, Learning Theories, Early Childhood Education and Development, and Child Psychology. Her practical experience dates back to early internships at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Center (QKUK) and the Mental Health Center in Prishtina.

Prof. Kamberi has participated in several international academic projects and study visits. She was a scholarship recipient of the ERASMUS+ and Tempus programs, participating in training and academic exchanges at prestigious institutions such as Radboud University (Netherlands), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), University of Edinburgh (Scotland), University College Cork (Ireland), and University of Salzburg (Austria).

Prof. Kamberi is an active member of various academic and professional bodies, including the Professional Council of QAPI, the Quality Assurance Commission at AAB College, and the Master Studies Council (KSM), where she also served as Chair between 2017–2019.

She has presented her research at numerous international conferences in different places around the world including in Prague, Sri Lanka, and Tirana, focusing on themes such as educational innovation, adolescent development, and applied psychology.

She is the author and co-author of several scientific publications indexed in reputable international journals, including:

  • The types of intrinsic motivation as predictors of academic achievement: the mediating role of deep learning strategy, Cogent Education (2025)
  • Experiences with and Risks of Internet Use Among Children in Kosovo, Journal of Elementary Education (2022)
  • Anxiety predictors among college students in Kosovo, International Journal of Adolescence and Youth (2019)

In addition to her academic engagements, Prof. Kamberi is also active in media, participating in television interviews and discussions on child development, education, and mental health.
