Valdete Daku was born on October 9, 1988, in Gjilan, where she completed her primary and secondary education. In 2010, she graduated from the Faculty of Mathematical and Natural Sciences at the University of Prishtina, majoring in Computer Science (https://uni-pr.edu). In 2019, she completed her master’s studies at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same university, earning the title Master of Science in Computer Engineering. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in the field of Computer and Information Science.
She began her professional career as a Software Developer at the company Hemsedal, after which she continued her engagement at AAB College, initially as a software developer and later in academic and leadership roles. At this institution, she has served as Head of the Software Development Office, lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science, and for a period, as Vice Dean of the same faculty. She is currently a full-time member of the academic staff at AAB College, with over 12 years of teaching experience in higher education.
During the period 2021–2023, Valdete Daku was the founder and manager of the Axians brand branch in Kosovo. Since 2024, she is the founder and CEO of her company DAX – Digital Application eXperts, focused on the development of digital platforms and mobile applications.
In parallel with her academic and entrepreneurial activity, Valdete is engaged as an external expert at the National Qualifications Authority (NQA), where she contributes to the processes of evaluation and validation of qualifications and professional standards in the field of information technology and digital innovation.
Valdete is certified in key areas such as: .NET and SQL, Digital Transformation, Project Management, and Scrum, combining academic expertise with practical experience in the ICT industry. She is committed to advancing education, technological innovation, and the empowerment of women in technology in Kosovo and beyond.
