Students of the Faculty of Psychology and Law today participated in the presentation “My work, my wealth” organized by INJECT in cooperation with AAB College.

This presentation addressed the legal issues and difficulties experienced by people during the division of common property created during a marriage. Joint ownership, spouse’s individual wealth, and many other topics that preoccupy our society were also discussed.

Luljeta Aliu, director of INJECT (Initiative for Justice and Equality), said that in Kosovo, women still face difficulties in securing their access to property while the existing legal framework guarantees girls and women the right to inheritance.

During this meeting with the students, Aliu also called for respect for the Family Law, which was amended in January 2019.
