As part of international academic activities and the ongoing commitment to knowledge exchange, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bashkim Rrahmani concluded a week-long series of academic lectures at UKEN University in Krakow, Poland, where he addressed topics of particular importance related to the state-building process and political development of the Republic of Kosovo.
During this academic visit, Prof. Rrahmani delivered a series of lectures and discussions with students and academic staff, focusing on issues related to the historical background of Kosovo, Kosovo’s international position during the former Yugoslavia, the Kosovo War, international civil administration, the declaration of independence, the process of international recognition of the Republic of Kosovo, the Kosovo–Serbia dialogue, as well as the country’s current political and economic developments. Special attention was also devoted to the Euro-Atlantic integration prospects of Kosovo and the wider Western Balkan region.
The lectures were met with considerable interest and were characterized by constructive academic discussions, reflecting the significance and contemporary relevance of the topics addressed. Through this engagement, international academic dialogue and the exchange of experiences concerning state building, peacebuilding, and European integration processes were further promoted.
Prof. Rrahmani expressed his appreciation for the hospitality and cooperation extended by UKEN University, emphasizing the importance of strengthening academic partnerships and fostering future inter-university collaboration initiatives.
This activity represents another important example of AAB College’s commitment to internationalization, academic cooperation, and the promotion of the expertise of its academic staff in the international arena.
