Savonia University of Applied Sciences from Finland and AAB College collaborate in many different fields and programs

Savonia University of Applied Sciences from Finland is expected to join the long list of partner institutions of AAB College from many European countries and beyond.

In order to initiate collaborative projects with Finnish University Savonia of Kuopio, Ms. Virpi Laukkanen, Vice-Rector for International Relations from Savonia University of Applied Sciences, and Ardita Yahya-Hoxha, lecturer and expert at the same university visited AAB College.

They were hosted by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at AAB College, Prof. Ass. Dr. Venera Llunji, with whom they talked about the beginning of cooperation between the two institutions through numerous programs and projects. These collaborations will include students and teachers from various fields, such as: information technology, social science, health science, business, tourism and catering, natural resources and culture. In the culture program, art and fashion design programs will be included as an opportunity for those interested.

All of the above mentioned projects will be part of a bachelor’s degree while master’s studies include areas such as: Digital Health, a new and highly sought-after field in Europe today, and Energy Engineering that also includes environmental issues.

AAB College as an institution of higher education which is open for genuine cooperation will be ready to cooperate closely with the Finnish university in all areas and programs that will be of interest to our students including projects with Erasmus +, Tempus and other valuable projects and activities.
