As part of his official visit to Turkey and ongoing efforts to expand international cooperation, the Rector
of AAB College, Prof. Dr. Sc. Blerim Olluri, held an important meeting with the Rector of Haliç University,
Prof. Dr. Enes Eryarsoy.
The meeting was also attended by the Vice Rectors of Haliç University, Prof. Dr. Öykü İyigün, the
Erasmus Program Coordinator, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Serhat Orakçı, and the Director of the International Office,
Elif H. Kubilay. Rector Olluri was accompanied by the Vice Rector for International Relations and
Cooperation, Prof. Venera Llunji, as well as Prof. Ass. Dr. Engin Melekoglu.
During the meeting, the parties discussed deepening interinstitutional cooperation, focusing on
expanding academic exchanges through the Erasmus+ program, developing joint projects, and
strengthening collaboration in scientific research.
Rector Olluri presented to his counterpart the continuous development and strengthening of AAB
College across various academic fields, highlighting the advancement of study programs, increased
capacity in research projects, and achievements in the internationalization process. He emphasized
close cooperation with international universities as a key factor in enhancing academic quality and
expanding opportunities for students and staff.
On the other hand, Rector Prof. Dr. Enes Eryarsoy presented the profile and development of Haliç
University, an institution that currently hosts over 17,000 students and offers programs across eight
faculties, a vocational school, a conservatory, and a graduate studies institute. He stressed the
importance of an interdisciplinary approach and aligning academic programs with the needs of society
and the labor market.
Both parties expressed their willingness to intensify cooperation through joint projects, scientific
publications, the organization of conferences and academic activities, as well as the development of
initiatives in areas of mutual interest.
This meeting marks an important step toward building sustainable international partnerships and
strengthening the role of both institutions in the global arena of higher education, scientific research,
and innovation.
