Within the “Executive Program for Wood Processing and Product Innovation” project supported by “USAID Kosovo Compete”, first generation students visited the world-renowned fair “Salone Del Mobile 2024” in Milan, Italy.

Students Erika Bllaca and Liamra Jusufi were introduced to the latest trends in furniture and product design, mainly wood material with a combination of metal, glass and textile. Among other things, students had the opportunity to follow the presentations of the alumni designers who started their success at the “Salone Satellite”.

Erika and Liamra said that this experience has reaffirmed their belief in the transformative power of design to enrich lives, stimulate dialogue and drive positive change. They expressed their gratitude to AAB College and “USAID Kosovo Compete Activity” for this opportunity, as well as expressed their desire to transfer this experience to Kosovo, as part of their efforts for innovation and creativity in this sector.
