A week in the life of an English major (in quarantine)

“People stayed at home. They read books, and listened, and rested, and practiced, and made art… Some met their shadows. And people started to think differently. “

This is how Kitty O ‘Meara begins her poem, inspired by the coronavirus pandemic. This poem has prompted AAB College student Hana Iljazi to do something special.

Hana, who studies in AAB College, Faculty of English Language, through a video blog, brings to us a period that will be long remembered by all, staying at home and the daily routine of online learning.

What makes Hana’s vlog more special is the sense created in the role of the English language teacher, where she, along with 30 other distinguished students, conducted free courses for students of all AAB faculties.
