Thanks to the commitment and tireless work of the staff and students of the Faculty of Dentistry for their contribution to the scientific field, their scientific paper was recently published in one of the most popular journals in this field, which is “World Journal of Dentistry”.

“Knowledge and Attitude towards Dental Floss among Adults in Kosovo: A Cross-sectional Study”, was carried out by professors Astrit Kuçi and Donika Iljazi Shahiqi together with students Ari Bruci and Aron Kelmendi. In this paper, the knowledge and use of dental care in adults are analyzed, while awareness messages are provided regarding the importance of oral hygiene.

The implementation of this paper clearly emphasizes the continuous effort of the academic staff to have part of the publications and the students, engaging them in the research section of the field they study.

“World Journal of Dentistry” is indexed on the SCOPUS platform.
