The Faculty of Economics at AAB College organized the International Scientific Roundtable entitled “The Future of Academic Development and Scientific Research in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
The event brought together distinguished professors and researchers from the United States, Europe, the Western Balkans, and South Asia, creating an important platform for academic dialogue on the impact of AI on higher education, scientific research, innovation, the economy, and entrepreneurship.
The roundtable was opened by the Rector of AAB College, Dr. Sc. Blerim Olluri, while the welcoming address was delivered by the initiator of the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Xhavit Islami.
The event was moderated by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Besime Ziberi, who guided the discussions and academic interaction among the panelists.
The scientific program included presentations by:
-Prof. Dr. Steve H. Hanke (Johns Hopkins University, USA);
-Prof. Dr. Veland Ramadani (South East European University, North Macedonia);
-Prof. Dr. Helena Nobre (University of Aveiro, Portugal);
-Academician Prof. Dr. Besnik Krasniqi (University of Prishtina, Kosovo);
-Prof. Dr. Nawaz Ahmad (Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Pakistan / University of Aveiro,
Portugal).
The roundtable confirmed the commitment of AAB College to being an active participant in the international debate on the future of education and scientific research in the age of artificial intelligence.
