AAB COLLEGE’S FACULTY OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH NGO PLAY4 INTERNATIONAL

10 December 2020

The overall purpose of this memorandum is to provide a framework for concrete cooperation and action in a variety of areas that are of mutual interest for the goals and strategies of PLAY and AAB College.

Within this framework, PLAY and AAB College aim to collaborate on the implementation of two of PLAY’s educational projects in Kosovo and increase educational experience and outcomes for AAB College students.

PLAY is an international NGO with headquarters in Paris and a Mission in Kosovo since 2002. Through sports and physical activity, PLAY International creates collective solutions to promote education, inclusion and well-being for all. PLAY actions in the field reinforce a deep conviction that sport is both a right and a tool to resolve complex issues faced by different societies.

The main goal of PLAY is to improve educational outcomes and promote social cohesion in the Western Balkans by empowering future generations and by using the power of sport as a tool to educate, integrate and improve the lives of all young people regardless of ethnicity, gender or ability.

The memorandum was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmir Pireva and Andrew Piner, Play International mission chief.
