In the facilities of the institution of the higher education AAB University, was held the solemn ceremony for completion of the traditional university manifestation, the largest in Kosovo and in the region. At the Manifestation “Days of AAB, 2015”, besides the students and professors of AAB, participants were also personalities from the business, research and scientific fields in local and international level, friends and partners of AAB.
On this occasion, the Rector of AAB, Prof. Dr. LulzimTafa, expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed for these activities and said that these activities were the most creative ones that AAB has organized so far, not forgetting to mention the different activities held for one month, those in the field of academic, humanitarian, sport, artistic, etc.
Within the Manifestation “Days of AAB, 2015”, were held activities organized in close cooperation with the academic staff and many experts. The purpose of these activities was to provide students and other participants a very prestigious program, with special activities, such as several special lectures, debates, roundtables, scientific conferences as well as cultural-artistic, sport and humanitarian activities.
Upon the successful completion of the Manifestation “Days of AAB, 2015”, several acknowledgments, prizes were granted to the companies and partner institutions of AAB.
On this occasion, the general director of PTK, Agron Mustafa, by expressing his gratitude for the acknowledgment granted by AAB, said that PTK will continue the cooperation with AAB, as a prestigious institution of higher education, and moreover, he advised the students to work and study in order that their dreams come true.
Whereas, OraBytyçi, Director of the SOS Children’s Village, the institution which was awarded with acknowledgment for cooperation with AAB, said that it was a pleasure to see these achievements of the students of AAB. She also stated that: “AAB has a special place in the SOS Children’s Village, because one of the children from the SOS Village was awarded with scholarship from AAB and was the first from the children’s village that graduated from the university studies”.
Acknowledgments for cooperation were awarded also to the Head of the network of kindergartens “Bardha” in Prishtina, and to the Tax Administration of Kosovo, while AAB received one by the National Centre for Blood Transfusion, for the contribution of the students and the staff of AAB, provided in the activity for blood donation.
Another acknowledgment on behalf of cooperation, AAB awarded one to the sector of the Education of the US Embassy in Kosovo. On this occasion, the American expert for education, Ann Snow, promised that the US Embassy will continue its support to AAB through cooperation to other projects in the future.
At the completion of the solemn ceremony of the eighth edition of the Manifestation “Days of AAB, 2015”, acknowledgments, medals, and tablets were awarded to the students, winners in the university games in the different academic, research, artistic and sport activities.
A recital by the students of the Faculty of English Language, campus in Gjakova,was held on this occasion, written by the student Arian Ukmeta, and recited jointly by RrezartaZengeler, ZanaNuraandBlertaZharra. At the end of the ceremony, the organizer of this event, made a cocktail party for the participants.
